You must graduate one of our protection programs before registering for the ISA Program. We will run these programs every few months but not always publish the dates and locations. If you are a former student, fill this out: ISA INTEREST FORM for an upcoming ISA course, and we will all relevant information and locations. The International Security Advisor program is a one-of-a-kind 21-day training experience to expose participants to the realities and challenges of operating internationally. After spending 2 weeks of language, cultural, regional security studies, in Southern California, students will receive their complete detail package, begin their mission plans, mapping, and pre-advance work. Once complete, students will break down into small teams to be transported to the selected international location for approximately 1 week.
Once on the ground in the target area, students will perform full security advances and threat/risk assessments as well as spending the evenings perfecting emergency language skills and receiving area security briefings from SECFOR’s local team. Students, utilizing their completed mission packages with updated advance work and security information, will track their principal’s flight into the region and prepare for their detail to begin. All that the student’s learned in the prerequisite 35-day HTPS course, and the new information picked up on advance will be utilized to escort their principals to various meetings and venues while maintaining a low profile profile.
The ISA course prepares students for government or corporate postings overseas. Whether working in the security field, management or as a freelance consultant, this program will benefit you by delivering a crash course in practical language, culture, customs, modes of transportation, currency, blending and all other aspects of living and working in the designated region.
The ISA program will also focus on regional security issues, military and police entities and their effectiveness in combating crime and/or terrorism. Students will be expected to deliver a complete multi-media briefing of a selected area to successfully graduate the course.
Space is limited for this unique training experience; The ISA series of courses provides on-the-ground experience for graduates of the 35-day High Threat Protection Specialist program in lieu of an apprenticeship program. Students may apply to attend this training only AFTER successful completion of the 35-day High Threat Protection Specialist pipeline. ISA course organizers will then advise perspective students of the upcoming availability and locations.
Past and future ISA locations include but are not limited to:
- Beirut, Lebanon
- Erbil, Iraq
- Manila, Philippines
- Istanbul, Turkey
- Bogota, Colombia
- Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina
- Port Au Prince, Haiti
- Mexico City, Mexico
