Venezuela Protective Detail. December 2022. SECFOR International. We provide risk management all over Latin America, Middle East, Eastern Europe as a prime or sub. Contact us. Couldn't make the conferences this year. We were a bit busy. 4 countries already this month and another 4 before Christmas. And this is the slow time of year. January and February are already looking ridiculous. We have got some training events coming up to provide you with on-the-ground realities.... not fantasy that we see from some other training providers that don't actually run details. Pay attention to who you are learning from. It matters! Talk is cheap. If your false-prophet instructor is not working currently in the industry at a high level, look elsewhere for training. Why...? Because they will lie to you simply to protect their own fragile egos.Stay safe!

Driver training into the night. Training does not Driver training into the night. Training does not always stop at sun down. Oncoming traffic, slow moving vehicles, vehicles coming up from behind (late for work) etc. Not everything is an attack but your security driver training should practice posturing your rolling or stopped vehicles for all eventualities. We do not stop training on a time hack. We continue until the job is done.
................................................
We have a 3-day Protective Driver Course coming up (March 5 - 7, 2023). We keep the courses small and stack instructors to minimize down time. There is no classroom time during this course, you will be driving the entire 3 days.
We do not stop at cones and dynamics. You will drive and communicate from all positions of the motorcade, over and over again until countering ambushes, hostile road blocks, and vehicles attempting to ram your client-vehicle off the road, become second nature.
You will master pick-ups and drops, routine traffic and extreme emergency circumstances on a realistic road surface including vehicle-to-vehicle contact.
You will break cars. Better here than out there. I have been driving in hostile environments for 30 years now. Contact is a reality in medium to high threat environments. Just checking YouTube for Road Rage incidents and you will see vehicles intentionally making contact with other cars. We will put you there now so that in the unfortunate event that you will encounter this type of incident, you will be in a much better position to deal with it having been there before.
Training coming up:

- 3 day Protective Driving
(March 5 - 7, 2023)

- 8 day Hard Skills
(March 9 - 16, 2023)
(3 days Driving, 2 days Medical certifications, 3 days firearms and immediate actions)

- 6 Day EP Immersion
(On-the ground training and 3 live details including an overnight detail in Los Angeles)

Understanding the basics of blending, behavioral anomalies, Covert documentation, link analysis, and building an electronic or hard-copy threat board are staples of our SD programs. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of Secfor. (“Secfor”, “we”, “our” or “us”) on the collection, use and disclosure of your information on www.htpscourse.com (the “Site”) and the services, features, content or applications we offer (together with the Site, the “Services”).
We receive information about you from various sources, including: (i) if you register for the Site and the Services, through your user account on the Services (your “Account”); (ii) your use of the Services generally; and (iii) from various third party websites and other services.

This Privacy Policy covers Secfor’s processing of Personal Data that Secfor gathers when you are accessing and using the Services. As used in this Privacy Policy, “Personal Data” means any information that can be used to individually identify a person, and “processing” generally covers actions that can be performed in connection with data such as collection, use, storage and disclosure.

This Privacy Policy also covers Secfor’s treatment of any Personal Data that Secfor’s business partners share with Secfor or Secfor shares with its business partners. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties, and their sites, services or applications that Secfor does not own or control, or to individuals that Secfor does not employ or manage (“Third Parties”). While we attempt to provide access only to those Third Parties that share our respect for your privacy, we cannot take responsibility for the content, actions or privacy policies of those Third Parties. We encourage you to carefully review the privacy policies of any Third Parties you access.

We collect Personal Data about you when you provide such information directly to us, when third parties such as our business partners or service providers provide us with Personal Data about you, or when Personal Data about you is automatically collected in connection with your use of our Services. Information we collect directly from you: We receive Personal Data directly from you when you provide us with such Personal Data, including without limitation the following:

First and last name

Email address

Billing zip code and/or country of residence

By providing Personal Data of others to Secfor, you represent that you have authority to do so. All information that you enter or upload about your non-users will be covered by Secfor’s Terms of Service, We disclaim responsibility for the information of others that you provide to us in the course of your use of the Services.  If you interact with a third party service when using our Services, such as if you use a third party service to log-in to our Services (for example, signing up for an account with Facebook Connect), or if you share content from our Services through a third party social media service, the third party service will send us information about you, such as information from your public profile, if the third party service and your account settings allow such sharing. The information we receive will depend on the policies and your account settings with the third party service. Information from our advertising partners: We receive information about you from some of our service providers who assist us with marketing or promotional services related to how you interact with our Site and Services. Information from our service providers: We receive information collected by third parties about your use of the Services. For example, we may use analytics service providers to analyze how you interact and engage with the Services and our advertisements, so we can learn and make enhancements to offer you a better experience. Some of these entities may use cookies, web beacons and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Services and other websites, which may include tracking activity across time and unaffiliated properties, including your IP address, web browser, pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked and conversion information. Third parties may also help us provide you with customer support, and provide us with information so that we may help you use our Services. Information we automatically collect when you use our Services: Some Personal Data is automatically collected when you use our Services, such as the following: IP address, Web browser information, Page view statistics, Browsing history, Usage information and click tracking. The Services use cookies and similar technologies such as pixel tags, web beacons, clear GIFs, and JavaScript (collectively, “Cookies”) to enable our servers to recognize your web browser and tell us how and when you visit and use our Site and Services, to analyze trends, learn about our user base and operate and improve our Services. Cookies are small files – usually consisting of letters and numbers – placed on your computer, tablet, phone, or similar device when you use that device to visit our Site. We sometimes combine information collected through Cookies that is not Personal Data with Personal Data that we have about you, for example, to tell us who you are or whether you have an account with us. We may also supplement the information we collect from you with information received from third parties. Cookies can either be “session Cookies” or “persistent Cookies”. Session Cookies are temporary Cookies that are stored on your device while you are visiting our Site or using our Services, whereas “persistent Cookies” are stored on your device for a period of time after you leave our Site or Services. The length of time a persistent Cookie stays on your device varies from Cookie to Cookie. We use persistent Cookies to store your preferences so that they are available for the next visit, and to keep a more accurate account of how often you visit our Services, how often you return, how your use of the Services may vary over time. We also use persistent Cookies to measure the effectiveness of advertising efforts. Through these Cookies, we may collect information about your online activity after you leave our Services. Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” or “DNT” option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites, and web applications, and services that you do not wish such operators to track certain of your online activities over time and across different websites. Because we collect browsing and persistent identifier data, the Services do not support Do Not Track requests at this time, which means that we may collect information about your online activity both while you are using the Services and after you leave our properties. Some Cookies are placed by a third party on your device and may provide information to us and third parties about your browsing habits (such as your visits to our Site or Services, the pages you have visited and the links and advertisements you have clicked). These Cookies can be used to determine whether certain third party services are being used, to identify your interests, to retarget advertisements to you and to serve advertisements to you that we or others believe are relevant to you. We do not control third party Cookies. We use the following types of Cookies:Essential Cookies. Essential Cookies that are required for providing you with features or services that you have requested. For example, certain Cookies enable you to log into secure areas of our Site or Services. Disabling these Cookies may make certain features and services unavailable. Functionality Cookies. Functional Cookies are used to record your choices and settings regarding our Services, maintain your preferences over time and recognize you when you return to our Services. These Cookies help us to personalize our content for you, greet you by name, and remember your preferences (for example, your choice of language or region).Analytical Cookies. Performance/Analytical Cookies allow us to understand how visitors use our Site and Services such as by collecting information about the number of visitors to the Site, what pages visitors view on our Site and how long visitors are viewing pages on the Site. Performance/Analytical Cookies also help us measure the performance of our advertising campaigns in order to help us improve our campaigns and the Services’ content for those who engage with our advertising. For example, Google, Inc. (“Google”) uses cookies in connection with its Google Analytics services. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the Services is subject to the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. You have the option to opt out of Google’s use of cookies by visiting the Google advertising opt-out page. Retargeting/Advertising Cookies. Retargeting/Advertising Cookies collect data about your online activity and identify your interests so that we can provide advertising that we believe is relevant to you. You can decide whether or not to accept Cookies. One way you can do this is through your internet browser’s settings. Most browsers have an option for turning off the Cookie feature, which will prevent your browser from accepting new Cookies, as well as (depending on the sophistication of your browser software) allow you to decide on acceptance of each new Cookie in a variety of ways. You can also delete all Cookies that are already on your computer. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some Services and functionalities may not work. To explore what Cookie settings are available to you, look in the “preferences” or “options” section of your browser’s menu. We may serve advertisements, and also allow third party ad networks, including third party ad servers, ad agencies, ad technology vendors and research firms, to serve advertisements through the Services. These advertisements may be targeted to users who fit certain general profile categories or display certain preferences or behaviors (“Interest-Based Ads”). Information for Internet-Based Ads (including Personal Data) may be provided to us by you, or derived from the usage patterns of particular users on the Services and/or services of Third Parties. Such information may be gathered through tracking users’ activities across time and unaffiliated properties. To accomplish this, we or our service providers may deliver Cookies, including a file (known as a “web beacon”) from an ad network to you through the Services. Web beacons allow ad networks to provide anonymized, aggregated auditing, research and reporting for us and for advertisers. Web beacons also enable ad networks to serve targeted advertisements to you when you visit other websites. Web beacons allow ad networks to view, edit or set their own Cookies on your browser, just as if you had requested a web page from their site. We do not share your Personal Data with advertisers without your consent. However, if you click on or otherwise interact with an advertisement there is a possibility that the advertiser may place a Cookie in your browser and note that it meets the criteria they selected. We process Personal Data to operate, improve, understand and personalize our Services. For example, we use Personal Data to: Communicate with you about the Services. Protect against or deter fraudulent, illegal or harmful actions. We process the following categories of Personal Data as a matter of “contractual necessity,” meaning that we need to process the data to perform under our Terms of Service with you, which enables us to provide you with the Services. When we process data due to contractual necessity, failure to provide such Personal Data will result in your inability to use some or all portions of the Services that require such data.

This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of Secfor. (“Secfor”, “we”, “our” or “us”) on the collection, use and disclosure of your information on htpscourse.com (the “Site”) and the services, features, content or applications we offer (together with the Site, the “Services”).

Surveillance Detection Ops: Supporting protective Surveillance Detection Ops: Supporting protective operations with no-profile SD teams can be of great value when done correctly. Understanding the basics of blending, behavioral anomalies, Covert documentation, link analysis, and building an electronic or hard-copy threat board are staples of our SD programs. When we have a little time, we mix in TSCM using REI's Andre and Orion series gear. All of the students vehicles are fair game from day 1 of the course. If you do not sweep your vehicle correctly, the following morning briefing will include pics of you and your prior evening's activities.
